PHED 1126 - Ballroom, Latin, and Social Dancing
(1:0:3) This course offers a variety of ballroom (smooth), Latin (rhythm), and social dances. Ballroom dances will include Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango. Latin dances will include Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive, and East Coast Swing. Social dances will include Salsa, Nightclub 2-step, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Merengue and Country Western 2-step. Students will learn technique and a variety of dance steps within each style. Semester Hours: 1 Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 3
