MUSI 1211 - Music Theory I

(2:3:0) Prerequisite: Approval of the instructor. This course is an analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony up to and including part writing and analysis; keyboard harmony; study of major and minor tonalities; major and minor triads; melodic composition of the phrase and period.
