MUSI 2212 - Music Theory IV

(2:3:0) Prerequisites: MUSI 2211. This course is a continuation of MUSI 2211 and includes advanced harmony part writing and keyboard analysis and writing of more advanced tonal harmony including chromaticism and extended terian structures.  Introduction to 20th century compositional procedures and survey of the traditional large forms of composition.  Correlated study at the keyboard.
