BIOL 2402 - Anatomy and Physiology II


(4:3:3) Anatomy and Physiology II is the second part of a two-course sequence. It is a study of the structure and function of the human body including the following systems: endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive (including nutrition), urinary (including fluid and electrolyte balance), and reproductive (including human development and genetics). Emphasis is on interrelationships among systems and regulation of physiological functions involved in maintaining homeostasis.Pre-requisite: BIOL 2401 or departmental approval.  Semester Hours: 4 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Pre-requisite: BIOL 2401 or departmental approval. Note: This course satisfies a 030 Life and Physical Sciences Core Curriculum requirement.
