HECO 1410 - Science of Nutrition (4:3:3) This course is a study and application of the science of nutrition including the chemical, physical, and sensory properties of food; nutritional quality; and food use and diet applications. Practical experiences are provided through laboratory time including: computer diet analysis, blood glucose and cholesterol analysis, and cardiovascular assessment.
