FIRT 1315 - Hazardous Materials I
(3:2:2) Examination of the chemical characteristics and behavior of various materials. Storage, transportation, handling hazardous emergency situations, and the most effective methods of hazard mitigation. This course meets Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) Model Curriculum non-core requirements. Fire service experience is recommended but not required for enrollment.
