HART 1303 - Air Conditioning Control Principles


(3:2:4) A basic study of HVAC and refrigeration controls; troubleshooting of control components; emphasis on use of wiring diagrams to analyze high and low voltage circuits; a review of Ohm’s law as applied to air conditioning controls and circuits. A basic use of computers will be included with this course. Students will be required to show proficiency in the use of computer hardware components, basic file management, and manipulating data using contemporary application software on a microcomputer.
