This course is an introduction to computer-aided drafting. Emphasis is placed on setup; creating and modifying geometry; storing and retrieving predefined shapes; placing, rotating, and scaling objects; adding text and dimensions; using layers, coordinate systems, and plot/print to scale. Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 4 Note: Basic Computer-Aided Drafting (DFTG 1309) must be taken concurrently with DFTG 1305 or DFTG 2317.
