AUMT 1407 - Automotive Electrical Systems
(4:2:8) This is an overview of automotive electrical systems including topics in operational theory, testing, diagnosis, and repair of charging and starting systems, and electrical accessories. Emphasis on electrical principles schematic diagrams, and service manuals. Safety is emphasized throughout the course. Elements of the course may be taught manufacturer specific. This course also includes an overview of computer information systems. It introduces computer hardware, software, procedures and related systems with an emphasis in automotive service.
