South Plains College offers five technical programs that prepare students for careers in professional services occupations. These programs are designed to provide a skilled workforce for the business community and service industry in the college’s service area. These programs include:

Cosmetology
Electrical and Power Transmission Technology
Fire Technology
Law Enforcement Technology

Departmental chairperson is Lance Scott, associate professor of law enforcement technology.
