Electronic Technologies, AAS

Offered at the Levelland Campus and the SPC Reese Center

The Electronic Technologies program is designed to provide students with skills necessary to become an entry-level electronics technician. The curriculum is in tune with the everchanging needs of the electronics industry. Graduates of the electronic technologies program may obtain employment in the following areas: manufacturing, industrial, medical, consumer products, communications, personal computers, networking and other specialized areas. The following curriculum meets all requirements for the Associate of Applied Science degree. The program is designed to articulate Tech Prep transfer courses. Two optional Certificates of Proficiency, which will transition toward an associate degree are also offered in this program.

Program advisor is Raymond Elizondo, program coordinator and associate professor of electronic technologies.

*Although not a requirement for this certificate, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.

****Capstone Experience: To qualify for the A.A.S. Degree, the student must pass a comprehensive written exam or an external learning experience.
