Sports Broadcasting, AA

Sports broadcasting is an exciting field with boundless opportunities. This curriculum is designed to prepare students for a career in the sports broadcasting industry, or to transfer to a university for a baccalaureate degree. Students receive hands-on training in all major sports including college football, basketball, baseball and professional hockey. Training emphasizes the use of the latest professional equipment in actual broadcast and lab environments.

This curriculum meets all requirements for the Associate of Arts degree. Program advisors are Billy Alonzo, assistant professor of radio, television and film, and Jay A. Hoes, assistant professor of radio, television and film.
