Offered at the Levelland Campus and Reese Campuses

This course of study provides the basic skills necessary for employment in the electrical field. Students who complete the following curriculum receive a Certificate of Proficiency.

This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students declaring this major are not subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the precribed curriculum.

ELPT 1321 - Introduction to Electrical Safety and Tools
ELPT 1411 - Basic Electrical Theory

*Although not a requirement for this degree, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
