General Insurance/Risk Management Certificate

Offered at Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center

The General Insurance/Risk Management certificate is designed to prepare graduates with adequate knowledge to enter and competently perform within the insurance business profession. This is a TSI-waived certificate; students declaring this major are not subject to TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum. A Certificate of Proficiency is awarded upon completion of the 31 credit-hour course of study.

*Although not a requirement for this certificate, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
