Engineering Graphics and Design Technology is a field that presents many opportunities in high-tech industry. The Engineering Graphics and Design Technology curriculum is designed to provide graduates with the essential knowledge and skills in engineering graphics and specialized software. Upon obtaining an Associate of Applied Science Degree, the student is prepared to enter the workforce as an entry-level engineering graphics and design specialist. A certificate program is also offered to those students interested in pursuing a career in engineering graphics and design, but who do not wish to take the academic courses involved in obtaining an Associate of Applied Science Degree.

Program advisor is Phyllis Kennon, assistant professor of engineering graphics and design technology.

*Although not a requirement for this degree, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.

****Capstone Experience: To qualify for the A.A.S. Degree, the student must pass comprehensive oral, written, practical skill exams or an external learning experience.
