Diesel Service Technology-Auxilliary and Drive Systems Certificate(Major Code 6425C)

Offered at the Levelland Campus

Students may elect to complete the following curriculum and receive a Certificate of Proficiency in Diesel Service Technology with emphasis in HVAC troubleshooting and repair, basic electrical systems, basic hydraulics, shop safety & procedures, and power train components.  This certificate concentrates on the drive train and other support systems found in and on diesel equipment.

This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students declaring this major are not subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.

*Although not a requirement for this certificate, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
