Other Biology Areas, AS

Students majoring in areas of biology, other than those previously listed, can generally complete two years of work at South Plains College before transferring to a university. There are some highly specialized areas of biology that may require the student to transfer after the first two semesters at South Plains College. To obtain the Associate of Science degree, students must meet all course requirements outlined in the About the College  section of this catalog.

First Semester*

Total Semester Hours: 15

Subsequent Semesters

Obtain advisement from Biology Department advisor for second, third and fourth semesters.

Notes

*Although not a requirement for this degree, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
