BSN Degree Preparation
This curriculum is designed to meet the requirements for transfer to a university. An Associate of Science degree will be achieved upon successful completion of the following curriculum. This is not an Associate Degree Nursing program. Program advisor is Sue Ann Lopez, director of nursing.
RN Diploma Preparation
This one-year, non-degree curriculum is designed to meet the requirements for admission into a hospital-based school of nursing. Program advisors include Sue Ann Lopez, chairperson of the Nursing Department, Dr. Sam Wages, chairperson of the Biology Department, Dr. Jackie Wright, professor of anatomy and physiology, and Jim Young, associate professor of biology.
Notes
*Although not a requirement for this degree, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
**Both BIOL 2401 and 2402 must be completed within five years prior to enrollment date at Covenant School of Nursing.
***Any three semester hour math course is required if preentrance testing indicates the need.
