Diesel Service Technology Certificate (Major Code 6423C)

Offered at the Levelland Campus

Students may elect to complete the following curriculum and receive a Certificate of Proficiency in Diesel Service Technology.  This certificate program is designed to train the student to service diesel powered trucks, farm tractors, busses and construction equipment. To qualify for the Certificate of Proficiency, the student must complete a Capstone Experience in the final semester of the program.

This certificate requires compliance with TSI.

Program advisor is Whitney Owens, professor of diesel service technology.

Notes

*Although not a requirement, students are strongly encouraged to take HUDV 1100 during the first semester of enrollment.
**CTE courses that may be articulated with high school.
***DEMR 1406, DEMR 1449 and DEMR 2434 must be taken concurrently.
