Diesel Service Technology Auxilliary and Drive Systems Certificate (Major Code 6425C)

Offered at the Levelland Campus

Students may elect to complete the following curriculum and receive a Certificate of Proficiency in Diesel Service Technology with emphasis in heating, ventilation, air conditioning troubleshooting and repair, basic electrical systems, basic hydraulics, shop safety and procedures, power train, braking, steering and chassis systems. To qualify for the Certificate of Proficiency, the student must complete a Capstone Experience in the final semester of the program.

This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students declaring this major are not subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.
