Offered at Plainview Extension Center Only

 Students may elect to complete the following curriculum and receive a Certificate of Proficiency in Automotive Technology with emphasis in automotive fundamentals including electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, climate control, welding, computer applications, and business management/human relation skills. To qualify for the Certificate of Proficiency, the student must complete a Capstone Experience in the final semester of the program. This is a TSI- waived certificate. Program advisor for Plainview Automotive program is Marc Wischkaemper, instructor in automotive technology.
