The following curriculum is designed to prepare students for academic transfer to a university baccalaureate program where they may complete requirements for a teaching degree with an emphasis in secondary education. Articulation agreeements that support the seamless transfer into university programs have been established with Texas Tech University, Lubbock Christian University, Wayland Baptist University, and West Texas A&M University. This curriculum satisfies all of the requirements for the Associate of Arts in Teaching degree. However, additional course work may be accepted by the transfer university. Consult faculty advisor for more information.

*Depending upon the teaching subject, courses that meet the General Core Curriculum requirements can be used toward the student’s major field of study. Students must consult with the program advisor to develop an individual plan of study that meets the student’s teaching career goals.
