Psychology as a program of study is intended to meet the requirements for the Associate of Arts degree with transfer to a university. The Field of Study in psychology allows a student to obtain up to 18 hours of course work that is intended to provide the foundation for a psychology major and to transfer. Student needs to meet with their advisor to assure the courses will transfer to their selected university.
The faculty advisor is Dr. Peggy Skinner, professor of psychology.

Foreign Language is a requirement at most transfer universities, so it is recommended that you talk with your advisor about completing your language requirement while at South Plains College.
