The Advanced Industrial Manufacturing/Emerging Technologies Certificate; Machinist Specialization is designed as a continuation of the Manufacturing Technology curriculum, which prepares graduates with increased knowledge and skills targeting higher productivity within the “machinist” manufacturing profession. Completion of the Industrial Manufacturing/Emerging Technologies Certificate; Machinist Specialization is a prerequisite to enrollment in the Advanced Certificate; Machinist Specialization.
To qualify for the Certificate of Proficiency, the student must complete a Capstone Experience during final semester of the program. This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students who declare this major are not subject to TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.
