Electrician and Power Transmission Technology, AAS Electrical Utility Specialization

The Associate of Applied Science Electrical Utility Specialization is designed to prepare qualified graduates to work various parts of the electrical utility field. The curriculum provides a sequence of courses approved by the electrical industry, which also meet skills and learning objectives required within industry. Graduates completing curriculum will attain knowledge and skills required to become readily employable to enter and competently perform as “entry level” utility technicians within the electrical industry.

Offered at the Levelland Campus.  Levelland campus program advisor is Paul Harbin, assistant professor of electrician and power transmission technology.  Reese Center program advisor is Diana Malone, instructor in electrician and power transmission technology.
