Offered at the Levelland Campus, the SPC Reese Center and the Plainview Extension Center
The Advanced Industrial Manufacturing/Emerging Technologies Certificate is designed as a continuation of the Manufacturing Technology curriculum, which prepares graduates with increased knowledge and skills targeting higher productivity within the manufacturing profession. The program prepares graduates to be employed as “Production/Service Technicians” in multiple career options including Drone Repair, Petroleum/Alternative Energy, Semiconductor/Electronics, Network Communications, and Cotton Production. Completion of the Industrial Manufacturing/Emerging Technologies Certificate of Proficiency is a prerequisite to enrollment in the Advanced Certificate program.
To qualify for the Certificate of Proficiency, the student must complete a Capstone Experience which includes passing a comprehensive written exam during final semester of the program. This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students who declare this major are not subject to TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.
