Electrician and Power Transmission Technology Advanced Electrical Utility Technician Certificate

This certificate program is designed to be a continuation of the electrical utility technician certificate. Instruction in power generation and high voltage systems is included. The Electrical Utility Technician Certificate is a prerequisite to the Advanced  Electrical Utility Technician Certificate. Students who complete the following curriculum, which includes a capstone experience in the final semester, receive a Certificate of Proficiency.

This is a TSI-waived cerificate.  Students declaring this major are not subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the prescribed curriculum.

Levelland campus program advisor is Paul Harbin, Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Electrician and Power Transmission Technology. Lubbock Center program advisor is Diana Malone, Instructor in Electrician and Power Transmission Technology.
