Sociology as a program of study is intended to meet the requirements for the Associate of Arts degree with transfer to a university. The Field of Study in sociology allows a student to obtain up to 15 hours of course work that is intended to provide the foundation for a sociology major and to transfer. Students need to meet with their advisor to assure the courses will transfer to their selected university. An Associate of Arts degree will be achieved upon successful completion of the recommended coursework below.
