RSPT 2414 - Mechanical Ventilation
This course includes in-depth coverage and application of therapeutic procedures to achieve adequate, spontaneous, and artificial ventilation with emphasis on ventilator classification, methods, principles, and operational characteristics. It also includes indications, complications, and physiologic effects/principles of mechanical ventilation, and emphasizes initiation, management, and weaning of ventilatory support.
