MATH 1314 - College Algebra

(3:3:1) A course designed for students who need College Algebra, but do not need to take MATH 2412, Precalculus, or MATH 2413, Calculus I. Course provides an in-depth study and applications of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, and systems of equations using matrices. Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 1 When Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer I, and Summer II semesters Pre-requisite: TSI-compliance in Mathematics Note:  

  • This course satisfies a 020 Mathematics Core Curriculum requirement.
  • This course may serve as a prerequisite for additional math courses where a grade of C or higher is required.
