MATH 1316 - Plane Trigonometry


(3:3:0) In-depth study and applications of trigonometry including definitions, identities, inverse functions, solutions of equations, graphing, and solving triangles. Additional topics such as vectors, polar coordinates and parametric equations may be included.

 

  Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 When Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer I, and Summer II semesters Pre-requisite: a ‘C’ or better in MATH 1314 or ‘C’ or better in MATH 1414 Note:  

  • This course satisfies a 020 Mathematics Core Curriculum requirement.
  • This course may serve as a prerequisite for additional math courses where a grade of C or higher is required.
