RNSG 2130 - Professional Nursing Review & Licensure Preparation
Review of concepts required for licensure examination and entry into the practice of professional nursing. Includes review of the application process of National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) test plan, assessment of knowledge deficits, and remediation. Promotes student success by providing opportunities to improve and develop study skills and interactive critical judgment thinking activities. Advanced Placement LVN to RN Transitional Track Prerequisites: ENGL-1301, BIOL-2401, BIOL-2402, PSYC-2314, HUMA (3 credits), RNSG 1327, RNSG 2213, RNSG 1205, RNSG 1301, RNSG 2260, RNSG 2221, RNSG 1343, RNSG 2261, RNSG 2201, RNSG 1251, RNSG 1210 or RNSG 1211 and each must be passed with a “C” or better.
