MATH 1342 - Statistical Methods

(3:3:0) Collection, analysis, presentation and interpretation of data, and probability. Analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation and regression, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.  Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Pre-requisite: MATH 0320 or two units of high school algebra.  Note: This course satisfies a 020 Mathematics Core Curriculum requirement.
