RNSG 2121 - Management of Client Care This course is an exploration of leadership and management principles applicable to the role of the nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care, and member of a profession. It includes application of knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Utilization of the nursing and management processes through critical thinking and problem-solving activities to emphasize accountability, collaboration, delegation and advocacy.Semester Hours: 1Lecture Hours: 1Lab Hours: 0Pre-requisite: RNSG 1105, RNSG 1115, RNSG 1144, RNSG 1160, RNSG 1441, RNSG 1513, RNSG 2313, RNSG 2460, BIOL 2402, BIOL 2420 with a grade of “C” or better in each.
